オーストラリアの森林火災への義援金に対して、キャンベラ・キャバルリーから「DOMO ARIGATO」のメッセージ。

YOKOHAMA DENA BAYSTARS DONATE $33K (2.5 MILLION YEN) TO BUSHFIRE APPEAL

The Yokohama DeNA BayStars have throw their support behind Canberra and the Southern NSW region by donating over $33,000 (2.5 million yen) to the NSW Rural Fire Service.

The BayStars organisation is pleased to support the cause, saying:

“Australia is a special country for the Yokohama DeNA Baystars because of our wonderful partnership with the Canberra Cavalry.

We are deeply saddened by the devastating situation caused by the bushfires so the team and our players who have played in Australia have decided to make a monetary donation.”

ベイスターズからの支援を「寛大」と表現し、両チームのパートナーシップの強さを物語っているようです。

この精神に国境は関係ありませんからね。

今後も両チームの良好な関係が続くことを確信しました。

ちなみに7人の選手は今永、三上、国吉、阪口、大貫、平田、笠井です。

ここに名前はありませんが、退団した青柳もメンバーとして名前を連ねてあげたかった。
